They call him Fearless Foster the human cannonball
See him walk from disaster. He’s never had a bad fall
His wife his lovely assistant in her blue sequined gown
She’s been smudging the grease paint with sly old Henry the clown

Fearless is studying yoga, he meditates for his act
Of course he has no idea of his wife’s secret pact
Showtime is here and he’s ready. He hears the roar of the crowd
They walk to stand by the big gun
Fearless is nervous but proud

Climb in the gun and it’s blast off. Fearless the cannonball goes.
Flying right over the seagulls in his smouldering clothes
Then he senses the danger and sees the net’s not in place
Turns to look down in his panic and sees his wife’s smiling face
